(NYSE: CNR) (the “Company”), the largest manufacturer of exterior building products, today reported third-quarter 2020 net sales of $1,227.3 million and net income of $30.0 million or 24 cents per diluted share. This compares with net sales of $1,285.0 million and net income of $24.8 million or 20 cents per diluted share in the same quarter last year. Adjusted for the March 2020 acquisition of Kleary Masonry, Inc., pro forma net sales1 for the nine months ended October 3, 2020 were $3,434.4 million, down 7.0 percent compared with pro forma net sales1 for the nine-months ended September 28, 2019. The decrease was primarily driven by lower volumes as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
