Roya Behnia began serving as interim general counsel for Cornerstone Building Brands in April 2026.
With more than 15 years of public company C-suite legal leadership experience, Behnia has advised boards of directors and senior management on a broad range of strategic matters, including transformation, M&A, governance, risk, data security, crisis situations and complex business environments.
Prior to joining Cornerstone Building Brands, Behnia served as executive vice president, chief legal officer and corporate affairs at JELD-WEN. Earlier in her career, she served as senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Pall Corporation; senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary at Rewards Network Inc.; held senior legal roles at SPX Corporation and Brunswick Corporation; and was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago.
Behnia holds a bachelor’s degree in government from Harvard University and a juris doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School.
